Blocks of Safes from Vault

Item Description:

We are offering eight blocks, each about 24″ from front to back, containing 23 safe doors. The doors and locks are of six different types.

We have a list of combinations for all but two of the dial safes, but all of the safes are open and the mechanism is accessible.

One dial lock needs to be replaced, although that safe also locks with a key. We do have keys that will allow at least a large part of the re-keying.

Doors:
On a half-wall:

1) Upper row, four SG Greenleaf, double-key (flat and corrugated), single dial; all unlocked. One has the box at the center removed and disassembled, apparently with some pieces of that one missing.

2) Lower row; five SG Greenleaf, double-dial

Then, on a facing wall:

3) Two Greenleaf, single-dial

4) Two Greenleaf single-dial, retrofitted with a Mosler time lock. The dial on the one on the right has a keyhole. We don’t know what a part that would attach to the plug on the outside would look like, but it may simply be a place to join it to a wall outlet with an extension chord.

5) Four single-dial Greenleaf locks (J. M. Mossman decals inside) with small hole inside door. One is locked.

Blocks:
Rough dimensions of the blocks, or nests, in width and height:

Four on a half-wall:

1) 49″.5″ x 24″

2) 44″ x 24″ —– hold the four two-key and one-dial doors, two on each block

3) 56.5″ x ~24″

4) 38″ x ~24″ —– hold the five two-dial doors, three on one block, two on the other

Four on a full wall:

5) 44″ x 67″ —– holds the two large-dial and two electronic time-lock doors

6) 49.5″ x 67″ —- holds the four small-dial door

7) 43″ x 21″

8) 43.5″ x 21″ —– hold the six single-locks (for keys – the keying can be reset), three on each block

At least some of the blocks seem to be joined with rivets inside that could be easily drilled out. The buyer is responsible for extracting and moving the blocks.
